Calligraphy, or the art of lovely writing, can be a relaxing hobby as well as a source of extra income.

The two basic and fundamental rules to start implementing in your practice are Consistency and Spacing.

Consistency – Keeping the letters consistent helps to increase the overall visual harmony. (something pleasing to the eye). This doesn’t mean that you have to aim for perfection and mathematical precision.

Spacing – Moreover, good spacing between the letters helps you to keep a high level of legibility.
